First £1,000 a year is tax-free
The UK Trading Allowance covers your first £1,000 of sharing income each year. Stay under it and there's usually nothing to file.
Above that, you declare it
Earn more and you'd report it through Self Assessment. Most hosts aren't VAT-registered. Your tax is between you and HMRC.
